To be a certified gymSAFE movement screen administrator, you must attend level 1 gymSAFE Movement Screen Course and pass the certification test.

Individuals who are qualified to participate in the class include

• Physical therapists/physical therapist assistants

• Athletic trainers

• Chiropractors

• Medical doctors

• Coaches with an exercise science or kinesiology degree

Participants must have experience in movement analysis, teaching exercises, and the ability to do manual muscle testing.

Once certified, you will be allowed to access the gymSAFE movement screen online through which you can administer the screen. You will have access to the tool for free for 1 year after your course, after which you will pay a monthly membership fee to continue to have access.
